Yes, new Ontario legislation allows almost any parcel or urban residential land including detached dwellings, semi-detached dwellings, or townhouses to build / construct an ADU given that the land meets ADU By-Law requirements such as setbacks, distances from the main / existing dwelling, and height and size requirements.
